What this site is

Pro US Plumbers is a referral service. It collects requests from people who need plumbing work and passes them to independent plumbing contractors in the states and metros it covers. It is not a plumbing contractor, does not employ or supervise plumbers, and does not perform, inspect or warrant any plumbing work. See how this referral service works for the longer version.

Independent contractors

The plumbers who contact you are independent businesses. Each is solely responsible for holding any licence, permit and insurance their work requires, for the price they quote, for the quality of their work, and for any warranty they offer. Any agreement to carry out work is between you and that contractor, not with Pro US Plumbers.

No guarantee of response, availability or price

Pro US Plumbers cannot promise that a contractor will contact you, how quickly, or at what price. Availability varies by area and time. Information on this site, including the service descriptions and pricing guide, is general and is not a quote, an estimate or professional advice for your situation.

Checking a contractor

Before you hire anyone, ask for their licence number and proof of insurance, check the licence with your state licensing board — the National Association of State Contractors Licensing Agencies links to most of them — and get the price and any warranty in writing. Pro US Plumbers does not verify the contractors who contact you; the FTC's consumer guidance covers what to check before hiring anyone for home repair work.

Your request

You agree that the details you submit are accurate and that you are entitled to submit them. By sending a request you agree to it being shared with independent plumbing contractors who may contact you, as described in the privacy policy.

Emergencies

This site is not an emergency service. If there is a risk to life or safety, including a suspected gas leak, contact emergency services or your gas utility first.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, Pro US Plumbers is not liable for the acts, omissions, pricing or workmanship of any contractor, or for loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
