What we collect

When you send a request we collect your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and the description of the work you need. We also receive basic technical information from your browser when you visit the site.

How we use it

To pass your request to independent plumbing contractors, to run and improve this site, to keep records, and to meet legal obligations, as described further in the terms of use.

Who we share it with

We share your request, including your name, phone number, email address and ZIP code, with independent plumbing contractors who may be able to help. They may contact you by phone, text or email about it, and each handles your information under its own practices. Contractors may pay us for referrals, so sharing your request with them may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under some state laws — including California's, where you have specific rights over that; see the California Attorney General's CCPA guidance. We also use service providers who host and support this site on our behalf.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to run the service and meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then we delete or anonymise it.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop sharing it, subject to what the law requires us to keep.
